Contract & Execution Strategy

The lowest cost, with an acceptable risk profile, through the right choice of delivery method.

A successful project is reliant on the correct blend of rigour and discipline. Along with this rigour, it is imperative the right selection of contract execution is chosen either via the traditional methods of design and construction (D&C), EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) and EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management), or via more alternate methods such as Alliancing or Partnering.

Each of the defined project delivery methods has their strengths and their shortfalls. Each one is appropriate in a certain range of circumstances. It is important to understand the strengths and weaknesses of a number of key parameters including: the quality of the design criteria, the skill base of the owner's team, the skill base and competency of potential contractors, any funding constraints, any time constraints, the economic drivers of the project, relevant risk strategies in place.

It is important to assess these parameters as they will provide indicators to determine the optimum means of project execution. Our objective is to deliver the lowest cost whilst providing an acceptable risk profile.
